We can say that "life" is "transition". But we cannot perceive every moment of transition. By the time we realize it, the transition to the next state has already been completed. It will still be independent and gradual, even in our lives, where the global epidemic has demanded dramatic changes.

The landscape in which the sounds I field-recorded for this album existed in the summer of 2021 will have shifted without our knowing, and will now be alive in a completely different way. We capture the entirety of these shifting moments in any form we can, and keep them within reach at all times. Through the medium of these recorded or remembered "moments," we confirm "life = transition".

『生』は『移ろい』と言い換えることができるだろう。しかし我々は移ろいゆくまさにその毎瞬間を認識することはできない。気がついた時にはすでに次の状態への移行が終了している。世界的に流行する疫病によって劇的な変化を求められた私達の生活のなかにおいても、それは相変わらず独立し漸次的に移ろう。

2021年夏頃の、このアルバムのためにフィールドレコーディングした音が存在した風景も、知らぬ間に移ろい、今では全く別のものとして生きているだろう。我々はその移ろいゆく瞬間の一部始終をあらゆる形で収め、いつでも手の届くところに保存する。その記録、あるいは記憶された『瞬間』を媒介としながら我々は『生＝移ろい』を確認するのだ。
